We need your help!
The Rohnert Park Cultural Arts Commission is asking any and all local businesses and individuals to help sponsor our public art project, “ Art in the Parks ”.
The success of this project rests on contributions from the community. Art in the Parks is funded entirely by sponsorship and donations.
With your help, we can enhance public spaces in our city, make visual art easily accessible to our residents and promote interaction between residents, business, government and culture as well as support the arts.

Public Art is the most accessible form of visual art: it enriches our everyday environment, puts smiles on our faces, and elicit thought and conversation. Public Art is a statement of civic pride and community identity. This is a win-win proposition for all of us.
Art in the Parks consists of fifteen canvas banners, measuring 30” X 72”, and painted/decorated by local artists. Artists will be asked to submit a design. Those chosen will be paid an honorarium of two hundred fifty dollars and be included in event publicity. The series of banners will be displayed from light poles at selected city parks.
The Cultural Arts Commission promotes arts through information and awareness. It has been organized to encourage and develop programs among community groups for the cultural enrichment of Rohnert Park . The Commission also has the purpose of encouraging the beautification of the appearance of the City; to advise the City Council on all matters affecting the beauty and culture of the City and to render advice and assistance to the City in the field of civic works of art and aesthetics.
Members are appointed by the City Council. Current members are:
Lynne Morrow, Chairperson
Anita Levin, Commissioner
Catherine Isett, Commissioner
Dennis McCormack, Commissioner
Emily Wiseman, Commissioner
